Holding a Wedding Under the Sea – How Far Can Creativity Go?!

According to Saed News, citing Bitooteh, the company U-Boat Worx—known for producing private submarines—has designed a new model that is sure to amaze you. This luxury submarine is called “UWEP”, short for Under Water Entertainment Platform, measuring 35 meters in length, 7.6 meters in width, and 7 meters in height, with over 148 square meters of interior space that can be used for parties and entertainment purposes.

This submarine can accommodate up to 120 passengers, an exceptionally large capacity for a submarine. It is powered by a 1.2-megawatt-hour battery located beneath the vessel. On a single charge, this battery lasts up to 18 hours, allowing the submarine to reach a maximum underwater speed of about 5 kilometers per hour and dive to depths of approximately 200 meters.

In case of emergencies, the submarine is equipped with a backup power system that can keep vital systems running for up to 96 hours, ensuring passengers remain safe until rescue arrives.

The UWEP features 14 massive windows, each approximately 4.5 meters in diameter, offering passengers breathtaking views of the underwater world. But what about visibility in the deep, especially at night? The designers thought of that, equipping the submarine with giant spotlights that illuminate the depths for a truly spectacular experience.

Perhaps the most intriguing feature is that when the submarine is not fully submerged, its upper deck functions like a ship deck, allowing passengers to enjoy fresh air and scenic views of the ocean surface. And there’s no need to worry—safety railings surround the entire deck.

Currently, the UWEP is far too expensive for the average person. However, some luxury tour companies may purchase one and use it for exclusive excursions. Until then, access is reserved for the wealthy, while ordinary people can only dream of cruising in this extraordinary underwater palace.
