Ingredients for Sausage, Broccoli, and Cheese Pastries:

  • 2 cups chopped sausage

  • 1 cup chopped broccoli

  • ½ cup grated cheddar cheese

  • 2 egg yolks

  • Tomato sauce, as needed

  • Pizza dough or bread dough, as needed

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F).

  2. Take a piece of dough for each pastry and roll it out thinly into a round shape. Spread some tomato sauce over half of the dough, then layer with chopped sausage, broccoli, and cheese.

  3. Lightly moisten the edges of the dough, fold it over, and press the edges together. Use a fork to seal the edges firmly.

  4. Beat the egg yolks until smooth, dilute slightly with water, and brush over the pastries.

  5. Grease a baking tray or line it with parchment paper, place the filled pastries on the tray, and pierce the tops lightly with a knife or fork.
