According to Saed News, Fox News has revealed that Saudi Arabia’s Defense Minister, Prince Khalid bin Salman, made an unannounced visit to the White House to meet privately with Donald Trump. The high-level discussions reportedly centered on Iran, ongoing peace negotiations regarding Gaza, and the potential for a long-awaited normalization of relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel.
The timing of the meeting is notable: it took place just days ahead of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s scheduled visit to the United States on Monday. Trump, who has re-entered the political spotlight amid speculation about his return to the presidency, appears to be maneuvering once again as a broker in the Middle East.
The Axios news site also reported that bin Salman met with Steve Witkoff, a White House envoy, and U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth during the visit.
