SAEDNEWS: A media activist, wrote on Telegram: Two weeks into the U.S.-backed proxy war against Iran, with America’s direct involvement, separatist Pan-Turk, Kurdish, and Baloch groups have launched disruptive actions in parts of the country that must be dealt with decisively.
According to Saed News, media activist Sara Houshmandi wrote on Telegram:
With about two weeks having passed since the U.S. proxy war was launched by the occupying regime against Iran — followed by direct American involvement in the war — there have been reports of disruptive activities by separatist Pan-Turk, Kurdish, and Baloch groups in some parts of the country. These actions must be dealt with decisively and without leniency.
1. While the country is under military attack, certain separatist groups — who previously attempted to divide parts of the country during 1979–1981 and again during the Mahsa Amini unrest in 2022 — have been reactivated at the direct instruction of Western intelligence services. They now seek to exploit the current wartime situation to implement the declared goal of the Zionist terrorist regime: the partitioning of Iran.
The issue of Iran’s disintegration is not new. Before the Islamic Revolution, the country suffered territorial losses — Afghanistan during the Qajar era and Bahrain under Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. Between these two bitter events, Reza Shah also ceded the strategic Ararat Mountains to Turkey. However, such losses stopped under the Islamic Republic. In the final days of 1979, shortly after the revolution’s victory, separatist uprisings by misguided elements in Sistan and Baluchestan (among some Baloch), by the so-called Arab People’s Movement in Khuzestan, and by Kurdish groups in Kurdistan and West Azerbaijan severely challenged the newborn republic — a threat that was eventually brought under control in 1981 thanks to great sacrifices by national heroes and martyrs.
In 2022, during the Mahsa Amini unrest, separatist movements were once again revived after 40 years. This time, regions in the west and northwest (Kurdistan and East and West Azerbaijan) saw activity from Kurdish and Pan-Turk separatists. In a few cities, some streets were briefly overrun by their displays of power.
However, the brave actions of the security, military, and police forces, along with support from the public, quickly suppressed these efforts. The absurd opposition circus at that time not only included figures like Reza Pahlavi and CIA-Mossad-linked “chicken revolutionaries,” but also celebrities such as Ali Karimi (!), Nazanin Boniadi, Golshifteh Farahani, and Masih Alinejad. They even welcomed a notorious terrorist like Abdullah Mohtadi — a marked Kurdish separatist who openly seeks to break Kurdistan off from Iran, and who has declared that even if many people must die for that goal, it doesn't matter.
2. Without foreign support and interference, such a scenario is impossible in our country. The Iranian people are united and deeply devoted to their nation's territorial integrity. In these very days, we’ve witnessed how not only Hezbollah-affiliated citizens, but also various sectors of society — including those who legitimately complain about economic conditions — and surprisingly even some national-religious groups critical of the government, have stood united in condemning the warmongering, Iran-hating Americans and Zionists, calling for retaliation against U.S. and Israeli crimes and for national unity.
It is clear that Western governments — opposed to democracy and intent on weakening a powerful Iran — see the Islamic Republic as an obstacle to their evil global order. In fact, they are even more committed than the separatist terrorists to this disintegration scenario. A fragmented Iran made up of several smaller states is a long-standing fantasy of global devils — and they will stop at nothing to realize it. In contrast, the clear interest of the Iranian people lies in a united Iran, and the nation will never allow even an inch of its land to be separated.
3. One of the main motivations behind this strategy by the U.S. and the Zionist regime is the current state of Syria and Libya. After the fall of Gaddafi, Libya has not officially been divided, but in practice, two governments have ruled over different regions for years — isn’t this de facto disintegration? In Syria, the rise of multinational insurgents to replace a government that had opposed Israel and sought to liberate the occupied Golan Heights has tempted the Zionists to apply a similar model to Iran.
Terrorist regimes like ISIS, Al-Nusra, and Tahrir al-Sham in Syria — despite their brutal repression of the people — remain totally indifferent to the Israeli occupation of large parts of Syria. In fact, Syrian rebels have repeatedly called for normalization of relations with Israel. The declaration of autonomy by the Druze, the Kurdish push for self-rule, and the Alawite effort to establish their own government — all serve the Zionists' plan to split Syria into mini-states. This sabotage aims to ensure that the Syrian people cannot form even a basic national government capable of eventually reclaiming the Golan or the lands recently occupied by Turkey and Israel.
4. The recent separatist movements in parts of Iran are clearly designed and coordinated in Zionist think tanks. These moves have been launched following military aggression, the assassination of commanders and scientists, and now — with Iran’s armed forces engaged in battle against Zionist and American forces — are being activated simultaneously.
5. Despite being involved on multiple fronts, Iran is not helpless. At present, the enemy does not even know in which direction the war is heading. The swift and decisive reaction of the IRGC and Army — including the rapid replacement of fallen commanders with individuals of equal caliber by the wise leadership of the Supreme Leader — coupled with the miscalculation of Iran’s enemies regarding the people's reaction (they expected chaos and rebellion, but the nation stood united and vengeful behind their leader), has confused both the U.S. and Israel.
The speed with which Mossad’s traitorous agents were neutralized with the help of citizens, and the people's mobilization alongside Basij forces to confront the separatists, has disoriented the enemy. Western powers, however, still view Iran’s current war with the U.S. and Zionist regime as an opportunity. Even though no public unrest has occurred in any region of Iran, they are still trying to fan the flames of separatism and encourage treasonous groups seeking to break away from the motherland. Undoubtedly, with the entry of MEK (MKO) terrorists, they will try to keep the fire of separatism burning.
With heavy logistical support for separatist individuals and groups, they will attempt to push developments in a direction that forces Iran to focus on its borders — thereby distracting it from confronting the U.S. and Israeli terrorist armies. Indeed, the simultaneous acts of aggression by foreign enemies and armed betrayal by domestic separatists are serious challenges. But Iran’s media professionals, politically aware citizens, devoted Basijis, and the people of the affected regions — through their strong sense of national unity — are fully capable of crushing these threats. There should be no real worry about Iran’s territorial disintegration.
