SAEDNEWS: The Fleet of Steadfastness, aiming to break the global silence in the face of the Gaza tragedies and to strengthen the spirit of solidarity among nations, reached its spiritual destination and sparked a wave of public reactions in support of the oppressed people of Palestine.
According to the Politics Desk of Saed News Analytical Website, Hossein Abdollahifar wrote in today’s issue of Javan newspaper:
From the very moment the passengers of the Samoud fleet set sail, determined to reach the shores of Palestine and deliver their humanitarian aid to the oppressed and heroic people of Gaza, they knew that their journey was no ordinary voyage. They understood it was not just a matter of traveling from one port to another and anchoring a few days later.
That is precisely why they chose the name “Samoud”—meaning steadfastness, endurance, and resistance—for their fleet, to show that they were aware of the hardships ahead and had firmly resolved to achieve their goal. Accordingly, they had anticipated the violent confrontation of the Zionist regime and even prepared themselves for captivity and harsher conditions.
In this sense, it can be said that the Samoud fleet, even before anchoring at its intended destination, has already reached many significant milestones:
Breaking the Silence:
The first achievement of the Samoud fleet was breaking the silence and passivity of the global community toward the unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza. It created new waves of public empathy and moral responsibility, evident in the massive reactions of people in various countries.
Exposing Brutality and Legitimizing Resistance:
The second achievement was to further expose the brutality of the Zionist regime and to highlight the righteousness of the oppressed and heroic people of Gaza—made evident by the inhumane and illegal behavior of the child-killing Zionist regime toward the fleet.
Revealing the Reality of Western Human Rights:
The third outcome was uncovering the true nature of Western human rights and the façade of Western liberal democracy. The illegal detention of the fleet’s passengers has once again challenged their credibility, showing that, despite their lofty claims, Western powers continue to support oppressors and criminals.
Inspiring Continued Movements:
Another destination for the Samoud fleet is to ensure that this movement continues through other fleets until the liberation of Palestine. Indeed, immediately after the arrest of its 470 passengers, another fleet named Freedom set sail toward Gaza.
Instilling Hope:
The fifth goal achieved by the fleet was to instill hope in the people of Gaza and all freedom-seeking individuals around the world—that the siege on Gaza can be broken and that the liberation of Palestine and the occupied territories is possible.
Demonstrating the Weakness of the Zionist Regime:
The fleet also revealed the inevitable outcome of resistance and the growing sense of despair within the Zionist leadership, who have shown their inability to make sound decisions when faced with peaceful and humanitarian initiatives.

The tenth and final achievement of the Samoud fleet was to prove the success and effectiveness of steadfastness and resistance. It reaffirmed that perseverance is the path chosen by the oppressed people of Palestine, Yemen, Lebanon, and the great nation of Iran—and that they have achieved tangible results through it. The Samoud fleet aimed to demonstrate that the only way to reach difficult and noble goals is through steadfastness and resilience, and that through endurance, one can achieve even the most challenging aspirations.
