SAEDNEWS: The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has warned against enemy's psychological warfare, calling for intensified efforts against the enemy's plots in the cultural field.
According to SAEDNEWS, On Wednesday, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution met with the members of "the National Congress of Martyrs of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province," where he articulated powerful insights into the sacrifices made by Iranian martyrs in the face of adversity.
In his remarks, the Leader emphasized the significance of these sacrifices, stating, "The martyrs stood against this psychological warfare with their sacrifice and struggle and neutralized it." He referenced the brave Iranians who fought valiantly against the West-backed Baath regime of Saddam Hussein during a tumultuous time in the nation’s history.
Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted the nature of the ongoing psychological warfare, particularly in military contexts, remarking that "the enemy’s psychological warfare in the military domain is aimed at inducing fear." He urged that in commemorating the martyrs, the focus should remain on this truth: "The martyrs stood up to the psychological warfare... In commemorating them, this truth (memory of martyrs) should be highlighted and commemorated."
Moreover, he called for an emphasis on domestic capabilities, criticizing the tendency to exaggerate the power of adversaries. The Leader articulated, "Since the victory of the Revolution, they used different methods to explain to and induce our nation that you should be afraid of America, Britain and the Zionists." He continued, stating, "The governments that give in to the demands of the Arrogant Powers (major Western powers) today, can resist their demands if they rely on their nations and capabilities and know the real level of the enemy's power."
Lastly, he pointed to the cultural threats posed by enemies that target the lifestyle of the people. He praised individuals in the cultural field for their efforts to keep the memory of the martyrs alive, appreciating their role in illuminating the heroic lifestyles of those who sacrificed so much for the nation. This commitment, he believes, is essential in standing resilient against the adversities of the cultural battlefield.
