Saed News: Politico reported that Reza Pahlavi has called for the continuation of U.S. and Israeli attacks, while also stating that even some opposition groups have expressed concern over the behavior and hardline positions of his supporters.
According to SAEDNEWS, the American magazine Politico reported that Reza Pahlavi criticized Donald Trump over contradictory statements and said he should “finish the job of overthrow.” According to the report, Pahlavi emphasized: “The United States and Israel must continue airstrikes and other attacks on Iranian targets so that citizens come to the streets and act as ground forces to overthrow the regime.”
Quoting Fars, Politico also referred to Pahlavi’s authoritarian tendencies and disputes among opposition groups, stating: “He and his followers have often attempted, through hardline tactics, to sideline other Iranian opposition activists and movements. Many Iranians abroad are dissatisfied and even alarmed by the aggressive behavior of Pahlavi’s aides and supporters.”
The American magazine also wrote regarding Pahlavi’s political weaknesses: “His supporters have developed a detailed plan for post-regime Iran, while he himself does not present such a plan. Trump has also downplayed Pahlavi’s ability to lead the opposition.”
Politico further confirmed: “In recent years, Pahlavi has increasingly aligned himself with Republicans, Israel, and other factions that have called for tougher measures against Iran.”
However, the plan for which Pahlavi criticizes Trump is the same plan implemented by Israel on the first day of the war: war, assassination of officials, and mobilizing agents to bring people into the streets. Nevertheless, Israeli intelligence sources have acknowledged that the plan has failed and that they are so disappointed with its implementation that they intend to shift focus to other matters.
