SAEDNEWS: Iranian students have been awarded one silver medal and eight medallions at the WorldSkills Lyon 2024.
According to SAEDNEWS, Iranian students made their mark at the WorldSkills Lyon 2024, taking home one silver medal and eight medallions.
Hassan Mohammadi and Hamidreza Hamidi proudly received the silver medal for their outstanding performance in the cyber security category. In addition, eight other Iranian students were recognized with medallions for their skills in various fields. The students honored with medallions are Alireza Pouchali, Aryan Taheri, Armin Taheri, Amir Mohammad Abouei, Mohammad Hosseini, Amir Abbas Ghasemi, Mehrdad Shirvani, and Reza Gholami.
The WorldSkills Competition, the largest skills competition in the world, took place in Lyon, France, from September 10 to 15. This year's event brought together around 1,400 competitors from over 70 countries, all showcasing their talents in a wide range of skills.
The competition allows young professionals, aged 22 and under, to compete and demonstrate their abilities. This year featured a total of 62 different skill competitions, including 59 official categories and 3 exhibition skills.
