According to SAEDNEWS, The foreign ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia highlighted the urgent need to address the crimes committed by the Zionist regime and to send humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
In a phone call, Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan congratulated his Iranian counterpart, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, on his recent appointment as Foreign Minister of Iran. Prince Faisal wished him success in his new role.
During the conversation, they discussed recent developments related to their bilateral relations and other regional issues, exchanging views on these topics.
Both ministers agreed that their relationship is improving and called for further cooperation in various fields. They also expressed concern over the ongoing violence in Gaza and the rising tensions in the region. Together, they emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts to stop the Zionist crimes and to deliver humanitarian aid to those affected in Gaza.
The top diplomats from Iran and Saudi Arabia also stressed the importance of continuing their consultations, describing such discussions as beneficial for both nations and for the broader region.
