SAEDNEWS: Abbas Araghchi, the new Foreign Minister of Iran, says that using all existing capacities to neutralize sanctions is the basis of Iran's foreign policy.
According to SAEDNEWS, In a recent post on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, Iran's newly appointed Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, expressed gratitude towards President Masoud Pezeshkian and the Iranian lawmakers for their trust in him. Araghchi highlighted that their support played a pivotal role in his appointment as the country’s top diplomat.
During his announcement, Araghchi emphasized the importance of maintaining strong ties with neighboring countries. He referenced recent discussions with his counterparts from Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon, underlining that the new government's foreign policy would prioritize a continued neighborhood policy and robust cooperation with regional allies. Furthermore, he reaffirmed Iran's unwavering support for the Axis of Resistance and the Palestinian people.
The minister also shared insights from his conversations with European counterparts from the UK, Germany, and France. He stressed his commitment to engaging in honorable and opportunity-oriented interactions with Europe, rooted in equality and mutual respect.
Araghchi concluded his statement by asserting that leveraging all available capacities to mitigate the impact of sanctions would be a foundational element of Iran's foreign policy moving forward.
