Iran and Turkmenistan Strengthen Ties with New Cooperation Agreements

SAEDNEWS: Iranian and Turkmen officials signed four cooperation documents in the presence of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and visiting national leader of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow in Tehran Wednesday.

Iran and Turkmenistan Strengthen Ties with New Cooperation Agreements

According to SAEDNEWS, Iran and Turkmenistan have signed four important cooperation documents aimed at enhancing their relationship. This significant event took place in Tehran, where Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian hosted Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, the national leader of Turkmenistan.

During a joint press conference, President Berdimuhamedow expressed Turkmenistan's desire to strengthen ties with Iran. "We seek to expand our connections with Tehran," he stated.

President Pezeshkian also spoke about the productive discussions that took place during their meeting. He noted that the newly signed agreements could pave the way for increased cooperation in various sectors.

The Iranian president mentioned, "We hope that these communications and agreements will lead to the expansion of mutual cooperation in other fields." He added that he looks forward to meeting with the Turkmen leader again soon in Ashgabat to discuss the implementation of their agreements.
