According to SAEDNEWS, In a significant development regarding diplomatic relations in the Middle East, the foreign ministers of Iran and the United Arab Emirates have highlighted the importance of expanding ties between their two nations. This conversation took place on Tuesday night, featuring Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Emirati Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

During the call, Sheikh Abdullah expressed his congratulations to Araghchi on his recent appointment as Iran's foreign minister, extending wishes for his success in this pivotal role. The UAE foreign minister emphasized his country’s commitment to advancing bilateral relations and pursuing ongoing regional cooperation with Iran. He stated, “We want to continue the development of bilateral relations as well as the continuation of regional cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran,” and called for “further expansion of cooperation between Tehran and Abu Dhabi in the new era.”

In response, Araghchi expressed gratitude towards the Emirati minister and congratulated him on being selected as the UAE's deputy prime minister, also wishing him success. The dialogue between the two leaders extended to various topics, underscoring a mutual interest in developing cooperation across several sectors including economic ties, consular relations, and security initiatives.
