According to SAEDNEWS, In a significant dialogue on Monday, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim reaffirmed the urgent need for unity among Islamic countries to confront the ongoing atrocities committed by the Zionist regime and to curb the violence and genocide occurring in Gaza.
During their phone conversation, the two leaders focused on strengthening bilateral relations while scrutinizing the latest developments in the region. They paid particular attention to the ongoing negotiations aimed at establishing a ceasefire in Gaza amid rising tensions.
Pezeshkian and Ibrahim condemned the support provided by the US and Western nations to the Zionist regime, citing it as a stark contradiction to their claims of defending human rights. They argued that such backing contributes to the ongoing violence against the oppressed and defenseless people in Gaza.
Highlighting the importance of collective action, the Iranian and Malaysian leaders emphasized that unity among Islamic countries is crucial to address the crimes committed by the Zionist regime.
