SAEDNEWS: The Iranian L90, previously introduced as Kadila and likely to be marketed as Aryan, has some differences from the Renault L90.
According to SaedNews, the Iranian L90 was introduced for the first time on April 17, 2023. This car is essentially the popular Tondar 90, which Pars Khodro decided to localize and market under the probable name Aryan. Initially named P90, its final name is expected to be Aryan.
The front design of the Iranian L90 appears conservative and modern, moving away from the dull and boring design of the L90. The lower part of the bumper is designed to be sporty, which does not fully align with the overall simple form of the body.
The side design remains unchanged except for the addition of small elements on the fender. The rear of the car is designed in a modern way, reminiscent of current Renault products. Overall, the exterior design of the P90 is modern and conservative, yet contradictory to its simple body.
The interior design of the car is similar to that of the L90 and Sandero, with no changes other than the addition of features like an infotainment display and a new odometer. This car has an upgraded TU5 Plus engine, meaning the heart of a Peugeot beats in the body of a Renault! The official name of this engine is EC5, used in Peugeot Citroen Group products (Peugeot 2008 and Citroen C3), Tara, Rana Plus, and 207.
