SAEDNEWS: Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami has ridiculed the delivery of THAAD missile defense from the US to Israeli regime, warning that the THAAD cannot keep them safe.
According to SAEDNEWS, Major General Hossein Salami, the Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has expressed doubts about the effectiveness of the THAAD missile defense system recently supplied to Israel by the United States. During a significant funeral for General Abbas Nilforoushan, who was killed by the Israeli regime in Beirut, General Salami stated that the THAAD system may not be enough to ensure Israel's safety.
"Don't trust THAAD; You can't massacre but stay safe. We know your weaknesses," General Salami cautioned the Israeli forces.
Last Sunday, the U.S. announced that it would be deploying its THAAD system to Israel, along with soldiers to manage the system. This decision is part of the latest military assistance package to Israel. Reports indicate that the introduction of THAAD came in response to the underperformance of Israel's Arrow anti-ballistic missile batteries during Iran's missile strike on October 1, which involved over 180 missiles. Iranian officials claim that 90% of those missiles successfully hit their intended military targets in the occupied territories.
General Salami also warned Israel, saying, "If you attack any of our targets, whether in the region or in Iran, we will again hit you painfully." He emphasized that Iran does not hesitate to retaliate against Israel, viewing the previous missile strike as a warning and merely the beginning of their response with minimal force.
This situation reflects the ongoing tensions between Iran and Israel as both sides brace for potential escalations in the conflict.
