SAEDNEWS: Chris Evans offers insight into his bond with Ryan Reynolds as they celebrate the release of the film.
According to SAEDNEWS, Chris Evans recently shared insights about his friendship with Ryan Reynolds following the release of Deadpool & Wolverine.
In an exclusive interview with People Magazine, Evans, who made a surprise cameo as Johnny Storm (the Human Torch), reflected on his experience. He recounted, “It was a couple years ago and I got a text from Ryan [Reynolds], we’re buddies. He just said, ‘Listen, if you don’t like this idea, no worries whatsoever. But I have something that could really bring the house down and would let you play a character from your past.'”
Evans expressed his trust in Reynolds, stating, “I mean, honestly, I would do anything Ryan asked. He gave me a great cameo in Free Guy already, and I just trust him completely. So the chance to be Johnny again, I couldn’t pass up. I loved it. It was fun to shoot, fun to watch, all of it.”
Additionally, the Captain America star shared that he memorized a challenging, expletive-filled monologue and delivered it flawlessly on screen.
Deadpool & Wolverine also featured several Avengers actors in cameo roles, including Chris Hemsworth, who reprised his role as Thor in the highly-acclaimed film.
