SAEDNEWS: Chris Evans reminisces about his time on set with 'Deadpool & Wolverine' co-stars in a social media post.
According to SAEDNEWS, Chris Evans reflected on his surprising secret cameo in Marvel's blockbuster, Deadpool & Wolverine, by sharing a new behind-the-scenes photo.
In the image, Evans is seen in costume alongside Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool, and director Shawn Levy. Having previously portrayed Johnny Storm, the Human Torch of the Fantastic Four, 17 years ago, Evans made a surprise appearance in this Marvel crossover film.
“Portraying Johnny again was a dream come true, and he will always hold a special place in my heart,” Evans captioned the photo on his Instagram stories, accompanied by four fire emojis.
He expressed gratitude to @vancityreynolds, @thehughjackman, and @slevydirect for including him in such a remarkable project, describing them as “three of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet.” He concluded with a special thank you to Ryan for making it all possible.
Evans first took on the role of Johnny Storm in the live-action Fantastic Four films, 2005’s Fantastic Four, and 2007’s Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, well before he became MCU’s Captain America.
