SAEDNEWS: The spokesman of the Chinese Foreign Ministry Lin Jian condemned the Zionist regime’s attack on Tabi’een school in Gaza, which resulted in the martyrdom of more than 100 Palestinians.
According to SAEDNEWS, In recent statements, Beijing has expressed deep concern regarding the ongoing attacks by Tel Aviv on the Gaza Strip, which have led to significant civilian casualties. Chinese spokesperson Jian emphasized on Tuesday, "We condemn any action that harms civilians and oppose any violation of international human rights."
The Chinese government is urging Israel to heed the call of the international community for an immediate ceasefire and cessation of hostilities. Jian further urged that Tel Aviv should make every effort to protect civilians in order to prevent further escalation of tensions in the region.
Recent events have underscored these concerns, as reports indicate that more than 100 Palestinians lost their lives following an Israeli airstrike on Tabi’een school in Gaza. This attack occurred during the time of morning prayers on Saturday, according to Al Jazeera. In addition to the fatalities, many others sustained injuries at the school, which had been serving as a refuge for displaced individuals.
The Israeli military has justified the airstrike by claiming that the school was being used as a military headquarters by Hamas, the Palestinian resistance movement. This justification has raised further questions about the protection of civilians in conflict zones, while the call for a ceasefire grows louder from various segments of the international community.
