Saed News: Banood is one of the villages and tourist attractions of Bushehr, located in its southeastern part. Its fame is due to its rocky coastline and close proximity to the sea.
According to the Family Magazine Service of Saed News, one of the main reasons for tourists’ fascination with this pristine and beautiful beach is the caves with openings facing the sea and shore. However, that's not the whole story—Banood Beach also played a prominent role as one of the filming locations for Muhammad: The Messenger of God (PBUH).
Banood Beach is one of the must-visit attractions in Asaluyeh, Bushehr Province. It gained additional fame as a primary location for the movie Muhammad: The Messenger of God (PBUH), which is why it may seem familiar to many visitors. The famous scene where fish miraculously wash up on the shore was filmed here. Even today, remnants of the beautiful clay houses and structures built for the film can still be seen along the beach.
If you stay overnight at Banood Beach, you can camp under the moonlight, light a fire, sit on the rocks, and watch the bioluminescent phytoplankton swim in the dark waters. As you listen to the soothing sound of the waves, you can also witness the moon slowly setting into the sea. One of the most exciting aspects of camping here is waking up to daylight and discovering the breathtaking landscape around you.
After exploring the small Banood Beach, take a short hike to a nearby small hill. If you manage to climb down with a rope, you’ll find a small cave to the left, which leads to a larger cave illuminated by sunlight streaming in through two openings. The Banood Cave is undoubtedly one of the area’s top attractions, offering an incredible setting for photography and unforgettable moments. A trip to Banood wouldn't be complete without visiting this mesmerizing cave.
Despite its proximity to Asaluyeh, Banood Beach remains untouched and pollution-free. To help preserve its pristine beauty, visitors should ensure they leave no trace and respect the natural environment.
