SAEDNEWS: The bust of Hossein Amirabdollahian, the late Iranian foreign minister was unveiled at the venue of the Society for the Defence of Palestinian Nation on Tuesday.
According to SAEDNEWS, A recent unveiling ceremony drew notable figures from the Iranian political landscape, including Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani, Abdolhossein Khosropanah, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, and the son of Amirabdollahian, among other officials. The ceremony served as a tribute to the legacy of martyr Amirabdollahian, a prominent advocate for the Resistance Front.
Speaking at the event, Kanaani paid heartfelt homage to Amirabdollahian, acknowledging his significant contributions and dedication. He stated, "Amirabdollahian was the voice of the oppressed Palestinians and the oppressed nations in the region," highlighting the role Amirabdollahian played as a prominent advocate for Palestine in international forums and meetings.
Kanaani further elaborated, expressing that the martyr “did not hesitate to defend the resistance” by engaging with high-ranking officials from various countries, international organizations, and foreign ministers of non-aligned nations. This unwavering commitment underscores the dedication that Amirabdollahian had toward the cause of resistance and solidarity among oppressed nations.
As the ceremony concluded, it became evident that Amirabdollahian's legacy as a champion for the rights of underrepresented groups would continue to inspire and influence Iran’s diplomatic efforts and its stance on international issues, particularly in relation to the Palestinian cause.
