Saed News: Mount Sabalan, with an elevation of 4,811 meters above sea level, is the third highest mountain in Iran. It is located in the northwest of the country, in the Ardabil province, between the cities of Ardabil and Meshginshahr.
In terms of administrative divisions of Ardabil province, this mountain is situated on the border between the central district of Ardabil County and the Lahroud district of Meshginshahr County.
