Marshmallow Flower Tea

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup marshmallow flowers

  • 1 cup mallow flowers

  • 1 cup chamomile flowers

  • 1 cup thyme

  • 6-7 jujubes

  • Boiling water, as needed

  • Rock candy, if desired

Instructions:

  1. Place the marshmallow flowers, mallow flowers, chamomile flowers, thyme, and jujubes in a teapot.

  2. Fill the teapot with boiling water.

  3. Allow the mixture to simmer on low heat for ten minutes.

  4. Strain the tea into a cup. If you prefer it sweeter, add a piece of rock candy.

  5. Drink two cups of this hot tea daily.

Ginger Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 30 grams fresh ginger

  • 3 lemons

  • 2 apples

  • 2 cups water

Instructions:

  1. Soak the fresh ginger in a cup of water overnight for 12 hours.

  2. Peel and wash the ginger, then chop it and place it in a blender.

  3. Slice the lemons, remove the seeds and peel, and add them to the blender.

  4. Chop the apples, remove the seeds, and add them to the blender.

  5. Add the water and blend on high speed until fully mixed.

  6. Strain the mixture through a sieve into a clean jar.

  7. Store the syrup in the refrigerator for 5-7 days.

  8. Consume one cup of this drink daily to ward off colds and flu.

Note: People with heart or digestive issues should consult a doctor before consuming ginger.

Apple and Cinnamon Elixir

Ingredients:

  • 2 apples

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • 1 cup water

  • Lemon, optional

Instructions:

  1. Chop the apples and remove the cores and seeds.

  2. Place the chopped apples and cinnamon stick in a pot, then add water.

  3. Simmer on medium heat for 30 minutes until the apples are soft.

  4. Remove the cinnamon stick and strain the mixture through a sieve, pressing the apples with a spoon to extract the juice.

  5. Pour the elixir into a cup and add fresh lemon juice if desired. Drink a cup of this warm elixir before bed.

  6. This drink is effective for treating coughs and sore throats and also helps cleanse the liver and digestive system.
