According to Saed News, citing Parsine Plus, an American woman living in Iowa experienced abdominal pain last week and visited her doctor. However, the doctor soon realized that her discomfort was due to pregnancy.
She had to quickly prepare and, just hours later, underwent a cesarean section at the hospital.
Neither Shelby nor her husband knew she was pregnant, let alone that they would become parents within a few hours.
On Friday, Shelby gave birth via C-section to twin daughters, each weighing 3 and 4 pounds.
The young couple named their newborn daughters Ava and Anna.
