SAEDNEWS: For the first time, the National Youth Music Festival will present its highest distinction to recognize the most outstanding young musical talent in Iran.
According to Saed News, Hamidreza Ardalan, secretary of this year’s National Youth Music Festival, announced the introduction of a brand-new “Top Honor Medal” designed to recognize the festival’s most exceptional talent.
Traditionally, winners received a festival statuette and cash prize for first place, and diplomas with cash awards for second and third place. But this year, organizers are going further: the new medal will be awarded to one to three participants per edition, representing the festival’s highest level of recognition.
Ardalan explained that recipients must demonstrate extraordinary genius, virtuosity, and unparalleled talent, making them symbols of the limitless potential of young Iranian musicians. Unlike conventional medals, this unique award does not hang from the neck but comes in a luxury case engraved with the festival’s details, serving as a lasting badge of honor from youth.
This year, with nearly 2,000 participants—400 reaching the finals and about 200 receiving prizes—only one to three standout prodigies will ultimately be granted the Top Honor Medal. Ardalan emphasized:
“This medal introduces the true phenomena of the festival—the shining results of talent among thousands of young Iranian musicians.”
