According to Saed News' cooking service, Davud Pasha is one of the authentic Turkish dishes that is somewhat similar to Fesenjan. One of the traditional Turkish dishes that also suits our Iranian taste is called Khoresh Davud Pasha! It's a delightful combination of sautéed kebab, pomegranate paste, and walnuts! Just imagining it is so enjoyable! How amazing it is!

Davud Pasha is somewhat similar to Fesenjan, but it has its differences. This stew, despite its deliciousness, is not difficult to prepare. You just need to combine the ingredients of several stews to make Davud Pasha at home! So, let's get started.

Ingredients for Davud Pasha Stew:

  • Ground beef: 350 grams

  • Grated onion (semi-drained): 1 large onion

  • Spices: salt, turmeric, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder

Sauce Ingredients:

  • Onion: 1 medium

  • Salt, turmeric, and black pepper

  • Ground walnuts: 2 tbsp

  • Dried mint: 1 heaping tbsp

  • Pomegranate paste (sweet): 2 tbsp

  • Pomegranate juice: half a glass

  • Water: half a glass

How to prepare: Mix the ground meat with the spices well and refrigerate for half an hour.
