Ingredients for making this simple and quick soup:

  • 1 kg of chopped spinach

  • 1.5 liters of water

  • 1.5 cups of flour

  • 2 cups of sour yogurt or sour buttermilk

  • Some oil

  • 3 tablespoons of dried mint

  • 1/2 tablespoon of turmeric

  • Black pepper (to taste)

    • 1/2 tablespoon of salt

Method:

  1. Place 1 kg of chopped spinach in a pot and add 1.5 liters of water. Let it boil and cook.

  2. Mix 1.5 cups of flour with some water and crumble it with your fingers to make small dough pieces.

  3. Gradually add the dough pieces to the cooked spinach and stir to prevent sticking and clumping.

  4. Give it 15 minutes, then add 2 cups of sour yogurt or sour buttermilk.

  5. In a pan, add some oil and sauté dried mint. Add turmeric, black pepper, and salt, then pour the mixture into the soup.

  6. Let it cook for another 30 minutes.
