According to Saed News, Mohammad Baniamin is the offspring of Ali Rezai and Sayyeda Hoda Tabatabaei, daughter of Leila Boroujerdi—herself the granddaughter of Imam Khomeini (RA) and chair of the Women and Youth Committee at the Expediency Discernment Council’s Secretariat.

As reported by Saed News’s political desk, via Aftab News, Zahra Mostafavi—daughter of Imam Khomeini (RA)—married Mahmoud Boroujerdi and gave birth to two children, Leila and Masih. Leila later wed one of Ayatollah Tabatabaei’s sons, and they have two daughters. One of those daughters then married Mohsen Rezai’s son (Ali Rezai), producing Mohammad Baniamin. Masih Boroujerdi, Zahra Mostafavi’s other child, now resides in Qom and is a respected instructor in the seminary.
