SAEDNEWS: President Massoud Pezeshkian emphasized that enhancing unity and cohesion among Islamic countries is the most effective way to confront the ongoing atrocities committed by the Israeli regime.
During his meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on the sidelines of the extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha on Monday, Iran’s president expressed optimism about quickly establishing official relations between Iran and Egypt.
President Pezeshkian voiced his satisfaction with the ongoing diplomatic exchanges, emphasizing the two nations’ shared rich and proud history. He noted that enhanced cooperation could bring significant benefits not only to Iran and Egypt but also to the wider region.
President el-Sisi welcomed the progress in bilateral relations, highlighting the potential for both countries to collaborate in serving mutual interests as well as those of other regional nations.
El-Sisi also underscored the importance of closer ties among Islamic countries and stressed the need for a unified, practical stance in confronting the escalation and persistence of Israeli crimes.
