Saed News: A young man who started stealing by targeting his romantic rival has been arrested.
According to the incident report by Saed News, citing Etemad Online, Tehran police officers have arrested a young thief who stole mobile phones from men and women in different areas of Tehran.
The young thief, whose number of victims is yet to be determined, confessed during interrogations: "I targeted both men and women for phone theft, but I started stealing after my girlfriend left me due to my poor financial situation and married a man who was well-off."
He continued: "This incident filled me with resentment, and on the day of her wedding, I stole her husband's phone. That was when my thefts began."
Currently, investigations into the suspect, who was caught during his latest robbery, are ongoing to identify all his victims.
