The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran strongly condemned a drone attack on a mosque in Fasher, Sudan, which claimed lives and injured innocent worshippers.
In its statement released Sunday night, Iran called the assault a “clear violation of international humanitarian law” and expressed sympathy for the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
The ministry urged an immediate cessation of attacks on civilians and critical infrastructure and stressed that the ongoing crisis in Sudan must be resolved through dialogue among Sudanese parties.
