SAEDNEWS: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed the urgent need for a unified and resolute stance from the Islamic community to counter the aggressive actions of the Israeli regime.
In a Wednesday telephone conversation with his Egyptian counterpart, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Iranian President Pezeshkian condemned recent actions by the Israeli regime as criminal, highlighting what he described as a blatant disregard for international norms and boundaries.
Referring specifically to Israel’s aggression against Hamas leaders in Qatar, Pezeshkian stressed the urgent need for a firm and unified response from the Islamic community to prevent the continuation of such inhumane acts. “The Zionist regime operates without adherence to any framework or rules, attacking any country at will,” he warned.
The Iranian president also expressed appreciation for Egypt’s pivotal role in facilitating negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program and the pursuit of a comprehensive agreement. Praising El-Sisi’s clear and decisive stance against Israeli aggression, Pezeshkian urged the Islamic community to follow the teachings of the Quran and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by acting collectively to prevent further attacks on Muslim nations.
Pezeshkian extended an invitation for El-Sisi to visit Iran, expressing hope that senior officials from both countries would meet soon to strengthen bilateral relations and foster greater cohesion across the Islamic world.
Echoing his counterpart, President El-Sisi welcomed the discussion and congratulated Pezeshkian on Iran’s recent agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), describing it as a demonstration of Tehran’s sincerity and commitment to regional stability, peace, and security.
El-Sisi emphasized that there is no military solution to Iran’s nuclear issue and strongly condemned Israel’s attacks on Qatar. He reaffirmed Egypt’s opposition to any aggression against Islamic lands and stressed that Israel’s recent actions highlight the urgent need for a collective and decisive stance against its expansionist ambitions in the region.
