SAEDNEWS: Iran’s top military officials, led by Major General Mousavi, assured parliament that the armed forces are fully prepared to respond decisively to any threats, emphasizing increased capabilities since the recent 12-day conflict with Israel.
According to Saed News, Ebrahim Rezaei explained the meeting between members of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee and Major General Mohammad Bagheri Mousavi, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, along with his deputies.
During the session, Major General Mousavi presented a report on the latest status of the armed forces, their defensive readiness against potential threats, as well as the operations conducted by the military during the 12-day conflict and the strikes inflicted on the Israeli regime.
The spokesperson of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee added that Major General Mousavi emphasized that Iran stands strong and powerful against its enemies and will defend the country.
Rezaei continued, noting that Mousavi’s deputies also provided reports on their respective areas of responsibility, which confirmed that the Islamic Republic’s armed forces are at full readiness, maintaining the highest levels of defensive and combat preparedness, and are prepared to deliver a punishing response to any aggression. If an attack occurs, Iran’s response will be more decisive and severe than before. He added that the country’s military capabilities and readiness have significantly increased.
He stated that members of the National Security Committee expressed their appreciation for the sacrifices and efforts of the Iranian armed forces in defending the country and reiterated full parliamentary support for the military, strengthening the nation’s defense capacity, and ensuring the welfare and needs of military personnel are met.
