Khorkhoreh Waterfall, also known as Mamakan Waterfall, is situated in West Azerbaijan Province, near the city of Salmas. To reach it, travelers take the road from Salmas toward Urmia for about 11 km, then branch onto a side road toward the village of Mamakan. Passing through the villages of Tamar and Shurgol, you’ll park along the road and begin a steep downhill hike into the valley to reach the waterfall.
A hiking route recorded on Wikiloc indicates a one-way distance of 40 km, with approximately 610 m of elevation gain, and a moderate technical difficulty. The trail begins at around 1,338 m above sea level and ascends up to about 1,788 m, typically taking around 2 hours and 12 minutes to complete.
