Vanilla: ½ teaspoon
Baking powder: 2 teaspoons

Liquid oil: ½ cup
Milk: ½ cup
How to Make Saffron Cake
Step 1:
To make the ceremonial saffron cake, first, place the eggs at room temperature 30 minutes before starting. Let them adjust to the room temperature. Then, select a suitable bowl.
Step 2:
Now, add the room-temperature eggs, vanilla, and sugar to the bowl. Use an electric mixer on high speed for 10 minutes until the mixture becomes white and fluffy.
Step 3:
Next, pour the milk into a pot. Place the pot on low heat and let the milk warm up. Be careful not to let it boil—just warm it up slightly. Add the lukewarm milk and liquid oil to the egg mixture.
Step 4:
Mix the ingredients until they are well combined. Then, add the brewed saffron and rose water to the mixture and stir again until combined. Next, place the flour and baking powder into a separate bowl.
Step 5:
Sift the flour mixture twice. Afterward, sift the flour mixture again, this time sifting it in three stages over the egg mixture. Use a spatula to gently fold the batter in a circular motion from one side.
Step 6:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and allow it to fully heat. Then, choose a suitable baking pan, grease the bottom with a little oil, and dust it with flour.
Step 7:
Pour the batter into the pan. Tap the pan several times on the counter to remove any air bubbles. Place the pan in the center of the oven and bake for 45 minutes.
Step 8:
Finally, after the baking time, check the cake. If it is cooked through, remove it from the oven and let it cool completely. Once cooled, place the cake in a serving dish and enjoy with saffron tea. Enjoy!
