Martyrdom of Hamas Leader Ismail Haniyeh Is A Call to Action for the Resistance Against Injustice: IRGC

According to SAEDNEWS, As communicated to the honorable and esteemed people of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as to the members of the Muslim Ummah and the brave fighters of the esteemed resistance front, it is with deep sorrow that I announce the martyrdom of the great Mujahid "Dr. Ismail Haniyeh," the esteemed head of Hamas's political office, along with one of his brave guards, who were killed in a terrorist act perpetrated by the cowardly and criminal Zionist regime at their place of residence in Tehran in the early hours of Wednesday, August 1, 2024.

Martyr Haniyeh was among the prominent figures of the approximately 110 foreign delegations invited by the "Honorable Islamic Consultative Assembly" to participate in the "Inauguration Ceremony of the 14th Presidency of the Islamic Republic of Iran," and he had made numerous visits to our country in recent years, especially following the historic operation "Storm of Al-Aqsa."

This crime has demonstrated that the criminal, murderous, and terrorist Zionist gang, disregarding international rules and regulations, will not hesitate to commit any criminal act to cover up their humiliating failures after nine months of war in Gaza, which has resulted in the massacre of tens of thousands of Palestinian women, men, and children.

Undoubtedly, this crime by the Zionist regime will face a tough and painful response from the powerful and vast resistance front, especially from Islamic Iran, and the blessings of the sacrifices made by "the Martyr of Al-Quds," Dr. Ismail Haniyeh, in defending the rights and cause of the Palestinian people will aid them.

With a strong condemnation of this vile and criminal act, and in extending condolences and congratulations on the martyrdom of the esteemed commander of Hamas and the Islamic resistance in Palestine, along with his brave protector, we inform the appreciative and revolutionary people of Iran that the programs for the funeral ceremony of the honored martyrs will be announced by the "Islamic Propaganda Coordination Council."
