SAEDNEWS: 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon begins, reports say
According to the Saednews political desk, A 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, finalized after negotiations in Washington and announced by Donald Trump, came into effect at midnight on Thursday.
The agreement follows nearly a month of clashes between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon. It comes after the two sides recently held their first direct diplomatic talks in decades in Washington.
However, just minutes before the ceasefire took effect, the Israeli military announced that it had targeted Hezbollah rocket launch platforms in the final hours.
Fars News also reported that Hezbollah, in the closing minutes before the ceasefire, launched several waves of missile attacks targeting Israeli military positions and equipment.
