SAEDNEWS: An official at the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI) said that $200 million worth of the technical and engineering services was exported from the country in the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year.
According to SAEDNEWS, The Director General of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran for Technical-Engineering Services and Knowledge-Based Products Office, Mohammad Reza Karimzadeh, announced an impressive 18 percent increase in Iran's export of technical and engineering services from March 21 to July 22, 2024, compared to the same period last year.
Karimzadeh noted that 18 certificates have been approved for exporting these services abroad. He reported that the value of technical and engineering services exported from Iran during this timeframe amounted to $200 million, reflecting the same 18 percent growth compared to last year.
The categories covered by these technical and engineering services include tourism, health tourism, creative industries, as well as road, sea, rail, and air transit, in addition to various knowledge-based products.
Furthermore, he highlighted that the total value of these exports from Iran for the previous year (from March 21, 2023, to March 20, 2024) reached an impressive $15.6 billion.
