Special spices are used to remove the unpleasant smell of meat and to add a pleasant aroma and taste to chicken. Saeed News has previously introduced many useful spices in Iranian cooking, and here, we present a special spice blend for red meat. This spice can be used in cooking red meat and is also suitable for ground meat. Follow the recipe below to learn how to make the best red meat spice blend at home.
Onion powder: 2 tablespoons
Celery seeds: 1 tablespoon
Crushed red pepper: 1/2 teaspoon
Red pepper: 2 tablespoons
Black and white pepper: 2 tablespoons
Salt: 1 tablespoon
Dried parsley: 1 tablespoon
Dried rosemary: 1 teaspoon
Dried basil: 1 tablespoon
Flour: 1 cup
Dried oregano: 2 teaspoons
Mix all the ingredients together and store them in an airtight container. For stews, use 2 to 3 tablespoons of this mix for every half kilogram of meat.
Kiwi: 2
Garlic powder: 1 teaspoon
Onion powder: 1 teaspoon
Dried parsley powder: 1 teaspoon
Dried rosemary powder: 1 teaspoon
Dried basil powder: 1 teaspoon
Curry powder: 1 teaspoon
Turmeric: 1 teaspoon
Black pepper: 1 teaspoon
Red pepper: 1 teaspoon
Prepare the Kiwi: To make kiwi spice for meat, first dry the kiwi. Blend two kiwis in a food processor until they become a puree. Spread a very thin layer of kiwi puree on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Dry the Kiwi: Place the sheet in an oven at 150-200°F until completely dry. If an oven is not available, spread the kiwi puree on a tray and dry it in the sun.
Mix the Ingredients: Once dried and cooled, grind the dried kiwi with the rest of the ingredients listed above in an electric grinder. Ensure all ingredients are mixed and powdered uniformly.
