According to SAEDNEWS, In a significant development for those participating in the Arbaeen rituals, Reza Nakhjavani announced that a total of 27 airlines have obtained flight licenses for conducting flights related to this important event. With these measures, Arbaeen flights are now operational from 17 airports managed by the Iranian Airports Company, ensuring a smoother journey for countless pilgrims.

Speaking at a recent news conference, Nakhjavani highlighted the crucial role played by several airports in facilitating travel during this sacred occasion. Facilities in Ilam, Kermanshah, Abadan, and Ahvaz have been designated as key hubs, providing essential access to travelers heading to Iraq for the Arbaeen ceremonies. This not only underscores the importance of these regional airports but also enhances the overall pilgrimage experience for participants.

Among the 27 approved airlines, a diverse mix of 19 domestic and international carriers are actively conducting Arbaeen flights. Notably, 17 airlines are domestic, while two foreign companies, Al-Iraqiya and Fly Baghdad, have also received licenses to assist in the transportation of pilgrims. This vast network of airline options ensures that pilgrims have flexibility and accessibility as they make their way to the revered shrine city of Najaf.

Mashhad Airport has emerged as a focal point in this effort, boasting the highest volume of both domestic and international flights dedicated to the shrine. This strategic emphasis on one of the busiest pilgrimage routes not only increases the number of travelers but also facilitates a streamlined travel experience.

In addition to air travel, Nakhjavani mentioned that pilgrims also have the option to make land journeys to Iraq via various border crossings, further enriching their pilgrimage experience.

As Arbaeen approaches, these developments demonstrate a commitment to ease and efficiency for travelers, enabling them to honor this significant ritual with fewer logistical hurdles.
