Ingredients

  • three small quinces

  • a glass of pomegranate juice

  • half a glass of sugar

  • two glasses of water

  • three cardamom seeds

  • one teaspoon of starch

How to make it!

  • peel the quinces and split the fruit into two equal parts

  • remove the fruits' pit by knife

  • place the quince skin at the bottom of the non-stick pan and put the quinces on those skin

  • put the cardamom seeds and quince seeds inside the pan

  • pour sugar and pomegranate juice on the quinces

  • dissolve starch and cold water together and pour them into the pan

  • cover the pan with its lid, reduce the stove heat and let it cook for 35 to 40 minutes to thicken and glaze the syrup of the dessert.

  • now the delicious quince dessert is ready to be served

  • transfer the dessert in a serving dish and garnish it with sliced pistachios (this dessert can be served with vanilla ice-cream or cream)
