According to SAEDNEWS, In a tragic turn of events, Al Jazeera Arabic journalist Ismail al-Ghoul and his cameraman Rami al-Refee lost their lives due to an Israeli airstrike in the Gaza Strip, as reported by the Qatari news network.
The attack occurred on Wednesday, targeting a vehicle near the Aidia area, located west of Gaza City, according to preliminary reports from Al Jazeera.
Mohamed Moawad, the managing editor for Al Jazeera Arabic, confirmed that the crew was actively reporting on the unfolding situation in northern Gaza when they were struck. This incident marks yet another in a series of targeted attacks by the Israeli military, following the recent assassinations of key figures including Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran and senior Hezbollah commander Fuad Shokor in southern Beirut. The ongoing violence continues to raise serious concerns about the safety of journalists working in conflict zones.
