Quick Cooking Tips: 3 Methods for Making Boiled Eggs

According to the family magazine service of Saed News, eggs are one of the most consumed foods, rich in proteins, minerals, and essential vitamins. They can be used in meals or as snacks. To benefit from eggs' nutrients, you can prepare them as fried eggs, boiled eggs, omelets, and more.

Boiling eggs is the healthiest method because no oil is added. 100 grams of boiled eggs contain 155 calories, and each boiled egg has 72 calories, making them ideal for weight loss diets. Here are several ways to prepare boiled eggs:

Method 1: Mixed Boiled Eggs

Place the egg in a cloth and roll it up.

Tie both ends of the cloth tightly with a thread.

Hold both ends and spin the cloth to mix the egg yolk and white completely.

Boil the egg as usual.

Remove the eggshell.

You'll see that the yolk and white have blended.

Method 2: Poached Eggs

Boil some water in a pot.

Add a bit of white vinegar or apple cider vinegar. This helps the egg stay together in the water.

Crack the egg into a bowl without stirring.

Stir the boiling water to create a whirlpool, then gently place the egg in the center.

Sprinkle some salt and pepper on the egg.

Wait for 2 to 3 minutes until the egg white sets.

Remove the poached egg and serve it with bread and other side dishes.

Method 3: Simple Boiled Eggs

Fill a pot with water.

Turn on the heat and wait until the water boils.

Gently place the egg into the boiling water.

Reduce the heat.

Be careful; placing the egg in boiling water can cause it to crack.

For soft-boiled eggs, cook for less than 4 minutes. For fully hard-boiled eggs, cook for 8 to 10 minutes.

After cooking, place the egg in cold water to make peeling easier.

Important Tips

Ensure the eggs are fresh.

After boiling, place the eggs in ice water to make peeling easier.

Consume boiled eggs the same day for the best taste.

You can store boiled eggs with the shell in the refrigerator for up to a few days.

Fresher eggs are harder to peel.

Overcooking eggs can cause an unpleasant smell.
