SAEDNEWS: Yemen’s Armed Forces announced missile and drone strikes on sensitive Israeli sites, including Tel Aviv-area targets, in retaliation for Israel’s assault on al-Hudaydah.
The Spokesman for Yemen’s Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced a series of missile and drone strikes on sensitive targets within the occupied territories.
According to al-Masirah, Saree confirmed that a hypersonic “Palestine-2” missile hit a critical site in the occupied city of Jaffa, deep in the heart of the occupied lands. He added that the Ramon military airport was targeted with suicide drones, emphasizing that all objectives were successfully achieved, forcing settlers to seek shelter.
Saree described these operations as a victory for the oppressed people of Gaza and framed them as part of Yemen’s response to Israel’s aggression.
Earlier reports from Israeli media indicated missile fire from Yemen toward the occupied Palestinian territories, triggering sirens in Tel Aviv and central regions. The Yemeni strikes came just hours after Israel bombed al-Hudaydah port, with Yemeni forces responding swiftly.
Israeli outlets also reported that Yemen’s missile launch prompted an emergency landing of a plane carrying Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The Yemeni Armed Forces declared their commitment to continue operations against the occupied territories as long as aggression against Gaza persists.
