Saed News: Rolled lasagna is the simplest way to cook lasagna with the same delicious fillings and various cheeses.
According to the Cooking Service of Saed News, rolled lasagna is the easiest way to cook lasagna with the same delicious fillings like ground meat and various cheeses. (Of course, if you wish, you can use shredded chicken instead of ground meat, or omit meat entirely and use mushrooms or bell peppers.)
Lasagna sheets: 10 sheets
Ground meat: 200 grams
Mushrooms: 150 grams
Bell pepper: 1
Tomato paste: 1 teaspoon
Cheddar cheese slices: 5 slices
Salt, black pepper, thyme, and paprika: 1 teaspoon
Garlic powder: ½ teaspoon
Mozzarella cheese: as needed
Flour: 1 tablespoon
Butter: 2 tablespoons
Milk: 1 cup
Salt and spices: as needed
1. Preparing the filling
First, chop the onion and sauté it in a pan with some oil. When the onion turns golden, add the ground meat and cook until it changes color completely. Add salt and all spices. Then add chopped mushrooms and bell pepper and sauté until soft. Finally, add the tomato paste and stir.
2. Boiling the lasagna sheets
In a suitable pot, bring water, oil, and salt to a boil. Add the lasagna sheets and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until slightly soft. Then drain them gently.
3. Preparing the béchamel sauce
Melt one tablespoon of butter in a pan. Add two tablespoons of flour and stir well until combined. Gradually add one cup of milk while stirring continuously to get a smooth sauce. Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste. Optionally, you can add Parmesan cheese or cream.
4. Preparing the rolls
Lay one lasagna sheet flat on a surface. Spread a layer of béchamel sauce over it, then add a layer of the meat mixture, and place half a slice of cheddar cheese. Roll up the lasagna sheet. Repeat with the remaining sheets.
5. Cooking the rolled lasagna in a pot
Pour a layer of béchamel sauce at the bottom of your cooking pot. Arrange the rolled lasagnas in the pot. Pour a thin layer of béchamel sauce over the rolls, then sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Cover the pot and cook on low heat for 35 to 40 minutes.
Making no-oven rolled lasagna is a relatively simple process that results in a delicious and elegant dish. Be sure to try it to brighten your family meals.
Making rolled lasagna without béchamel sauce:
If you're short on time or want to make rolled lasagna without béchamel sauce, you can use a red sauce made from tomato paste, fried onions, and optionally some ground meat. You can also skip the meat and simply season with salt, pepper, and spices.
Cooking rolled lasagna in a double-sided pan or Pyrex dish without an oven:
You can use a regular pan or a double-sided pan for this dish. If you use a Pyrex dish, place it inside a pot with a trivet and boiling water, allowing the lasagna to cook with steam over medium heat.
