Eggless pancakes are a variation of the classic pancakes, but without the use of eggs. Here’s the recipe from Saad News kitchen:
1 ¼ cups of flour
1 tablespoon of baking powder and sugar
¼ teaspoon of salt
1 cup of skim milk
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
2 tablespoons of water
Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
In another bowl, mix the milk, oil, and water, then add them to the dry ingredients.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and spray it with a little cooking oil.
Pour about ¼ cup of the pancake batter into the skillet.
Let it cook until bubbles start forming on top of the pancake.
Once the edges start to dry, flip it to cook the other side until slightly brown.
Ingredients:
1 cup of white flour
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 tablespoon of baking powder (I used ½ tablespoon)
½ teaspoon of salt
1 cup of soy milk
1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
How to Make:
Mix the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, salt) in a bowl.
Add the soy milk, vanilla extract, and apple cider vinegar, and stir until combined.
Heat a non-stick skillet and lightly grease it with coconut oil or any other vegetable oil.
Pour about ¼ cup of batter into the skillet. Once bubbles appear on top of the pancake, flip it.
Serve the pancakes warm with maple syrup, jam, fresh fruits, or peanut butter.
Ingredients:
1 cup of whole wheat flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
¼ teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of sugar
Water as needed
How to Make:
Sift the flour and baking powder, then add the salt and sugar, and mix well.
Add ½ cup of water and stir. If the batter is like yogurt, no need to add more water; if it's too thick, add more water to reach the consistency of yogurt.
Heat a non-stick pan and grease it lightly with oil.
Pour a few tablespoons of the batter into the pan, reduce the heat, and wait for small bubbles to form on top.
After about 3-4 minutes, flip the pancake and cook the other side until golden brown.
Serve the pancakes warm with ganache, honey, or fruit pieces.
