Saed News: Today, we’re sharing a recipe for a delicious and powerful date-based concoction. Ma’seleh is an Arab-inspired dessert that is extremely popular in southern Iran, especially in Khuzestan. Made with warm spices, it has an intensely hot nature, making it perfect for winter.
• Dates
• Dark date syrup
• Roasted sesame seeds
• Ginger (Khosrudar variety)
• Cinnamon
1. Remove the pits from the dates and discard them.
2. Layer the dates and sesame seeds alternately in a serving dish.
3. Heat the date syrup over low heat until it becomes runny.
4. Add ginger, Khosrudar, and a small amount of cinnamon to the syrup and mix well.
5. Pour the warm syrup over the layered dates and let it sit for 3 to 5 days to absorb the flavors.

Pregnant women should avoid this dish, as all the ingredients have a warm nature, which could be harmful to the fetus. Additionally, you can enhance the recipe by adding ground walnuts for extra flavor and nutrition.
