Instructions:
First, prepare the donut dough. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Then add the warm milk, egg, and melted butter, and knead until the dough is soft and smooth. Let the dough rest in a warm place for one hour, until it doubles in size.
While the dough is resting, prepare the filling. In a pot, heat the milk and sugar on low heat until the sugar dissolves. Then, mix the egg yolks with the flour and vanilla, and gradually add the mixture to the milk, stirring constantly until the cream thickens. Remove the cream from the heat and allow it to cool.
