SAEDNEWS: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said his ministry’s mission within the framework of economic diplomacy is to open paths for economic actors and create conditions for their constructive engagement with foreign partners.
Araqchi made these remarks during a meeting with Samad Hassanzadeh, the head of Iran’s Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture, held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday.
Highlighting the vital role of the private sector in strengthening Iran’s foreign economic relations, Araqchi stated that the Foreign Ministry’s responsibility, within the framework of economic diplomacy, is to pave the way for economic actors and create conditions for their constructive engagement with international partners.
During the meeting, both sides explored ways to enhance and facilitate the private sector’s participation in expanding Iran’s foreign economic relations.
They also underlined the importance of closer coordination between the Foreign Ministry and the Chamber of Commerce to support economic players and ease the private sector’s international interactions.
