SAEDNEWS: Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson said Ukraine’s cancellation of the diplomatic visa agreement is unjustified, and Tehran is considering a reciprocal response.
According to Saed News, in response to a question about Ukraine’s cancellation of the memorandum of understanding on visa exemptions for holders of diplomatic and service passports, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson stated that this action is unjustifiable.
The spokesperson emphasized that over the years, Ukraine has adopted anti-Iranian positions, influenced by false reports alleging Iran’s support against Ukraine in its conflict with Russia.
He added that the latest action contradicts both international law and the bilateral agreements between the two countries.
Furthermore, he stated that, in principle, this move will be met with reciprocal action from Iran, and the details of this response are currently under review.
