بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِیمِ
In the name of God, whose mercy is abundant and whose kindness is eternal.
الْحَمْدُ للهِ وَ الْحَمْدُ حَقُّهُ کَمَا یَسْتَحِقُّهُ حَمْدا کَثِیرا وَ أَعُوذُ بِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِی إِنَّ النَّفْسَ لَأَمَّارَهٌ بِالسُّوءِ اِلّا مَا رَحِمَ رَبِّی وَ أَعُوذُ بِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ الشَّیْطَانِ الَّذِی یَزِیدُنِی ذَنْبا إِلَی ذَنْبِی وَ أَحْتَرِزُ بِهِ مِنْ کُلِّ جَبَّارٍ فَاجِرٍ وَ سُلْطَانٍ جَائِرٍ وَ عَدُوٍّ قَاهِرٍ اللهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِی مِنْ جُنْدِکَ فَإِنَّ جُنْدَکَ هُمُ الْغَالِبُونَ وَ اجْعَلْنِی مِنْ حِزْبِکَ فَإِنَّ حِزْبَکَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ،
Praise is due to God, and thanks are fitting for Him, as is appropriate for His majesty, a great praise. I seek refuge in Him from the evil of my soul, for the soul indeed commands evil, except what my Lord has mercy upon. I seek refuge in God from the harm of Satan, who adds sin to my sins. By His power, I seek protection from every arrogant wrongdoer, tyrannical ruler, and overpowering enemy. O God, make me one of Your soldiers, for indeed, Your soldiers are the victorious ones. Make me one of Your supporters, for indeed, Your supporters are the successful ones.
وَ اجْعَلْنِی مِنْ أَوْلِیَائِکَ فَإِنَّ أَوْلِیَاءَکَ لا خَوْفٌ عَلَیْهِمْ وَ لا هُمْ یَحْزَنُونَ اللهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ لِی دِینِی فَإِنَّهُ عِصْمَهُ أَمْرِی وَ أَصْلِحْ لِی آخِرَتِی فَإِنَّهَا دَارُ مَقَرِّی وَ إِلَیْهَا مِنْ مُجَاوَرَهِ اللِّئَامِ مَفَرِّی وَ اجْعَلِ الْحَیَاهَ زِیَادَهً لِی فِی کُلِّ خَیْرٍ وَ الْوَفَاهَ رَاحَهً لِی مِنْ کُلِّ شَرٍ اللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ خَاتَمِ النَّبِیِّینَ،
And make me one of Your friends, for Your friends have no fear and they do not grieve. O God, set my religion right for me, for it is the means of my safety and the protection from my sins. Set my hereafter in order, for it is the eternal home and my refuge from the company of the wicked. Make my life a means of increase in all good, and make my death a peace from all harm. O God, send blessings upon Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets.
وَ تَمَامِ عِدَّهِ الْمُرْسَلِینَ وَ عَلَی آلِهِ الطَّیِّبِینَ الطَّاهِرِینَ وَ أَصْحَابِهِ الْمُنْتَجَبِینَ وَ هَبْ لِی فِی الثُّلَثَاءِ ثَلاثا لا تَدَعْ لِی ذَنْبا اِلّا غَفَرْتَهُ وَ لا غَمّا اِلّا أَذْهَبْتَهُ وَ لا عَدُوّا اِلّا دَفَعْتَهُ بِبِسْمِ اللهِ خَیْرِ الْأَسْمَاءِ بِسْمِ اللهِ رَبِّ الْأَرْضِ وَ السَّمَاءِ أَسْتَدْفِعُ کُلَّ مَکْرُوهٍ أَوَّلُهُ سَخَطُهُ وَ أَسْتَجْلِبُ کُلَّ مَحْبُوبٍ أَوَّلُهُ رِضَاهُ فَاخْتِمْ لِی مِنْکَ بِالْغُفْرَانِ یَا وَلِیَّ الْإِحْسَانِ
And the completion of the number of the messengers, and upon his pure and righteous family, and his chosen companions. Grant me, on this Tuesday, three things: Do not leave a sin for me except that You forgive it, nor a sorrow except that You remove it, nor an enemy except that You repel it. In the name of Allah, the best of names, in the name of Allah, the Lord of the earth and the heavens, I seek to repel every harm, the first of which is His anger, and I seek to bring every beloved thing, the first of which is His pleasure. Conclude for me from You with forgiveness, O my Protector, the Most Benevolent.
